:) - With just a few changes it would also be true of scientists...

It is sooo true, and many of those points unavoidable in day to day living. I knew what I was doing: most artists never get recognition in their lifetime. But it grates to know there is not likely to be a nest egg. What does actually help is knowing that there are diehard friends who believe in me and don't just flatter but help me find supplies or selling ideas. Nurture your friends as if your life depended on it, because sometimes it does!
