Artist Dominic Wilcox has created "Moments in Time," a series of sculptures in which tiny persons interact atop the hands of a watch. The little guys do move along with the clocks' regular timekeeping, making for unique animations of poignant and amusing imagined situations.

I once heard that it takes 300 points of contact to be swayed by a piece of print advertising (that you're not already seeking out). That means a political candidate has to call, be seen on a TV ad, or send you junk mail 300 times in order for that technique to be effective.

And other than coupons or sale annoucements, I can't imagine, in this day and age, where postage is expensive, and we're touched by thousands of ads before we even check the mail, that sending stuff to a mailbox is helpful.

Estonian designer Pavel Sidorenko has turned the recycled record wall clock motif upside down with this new series of laser cut LPs. Each piece creates a unique shape from vintage vinyl, making them appropriate for any room in the house, not just music or kitchsy themed spaces.

Hands down, this is the finest piece of recycled bike part art I've seen. Most just end up looking a bit, well, like hot glued dirty used bike parts, but this clever repurposing of a chain ring actually makes for some surprisingly high design.
