Photographer Stephen Wilkes has created a new way to photograph the passing of time. He's figured out a way to bypass the stringing together of single frames in an animation like sequence, and put everything into a single still.
Each images takes a minimum of ten hours and hundreds of shots, thirty to fifty of which are then strung together to create surreal collages of life in NYC.
