Photographer Jessica Hilltout has captured these fantastic photos of the unstoppable game of football/soccer throughout Africa. As part of her series "Amen," she seeks to document grassroots football culture - the homemade balls, goals, and shoes that allow these communities to play everyday.
She says, "My most recent and challenging project has been a book on grassroots football entitled AMEN. 15,000 KM through ten countries in Southern Africa and West Africa. AMEN remains true to finding beauty and joy where others may only see deprivation. AMEN, above all else, captures the strength of the human spirit."
