How to: Make a DIY Leather Wrapped Flask

There’s nothing wrong with a classic stainless steel flask, but in my experience, a basic, clean-faced model is sorta hard to come by. Instead, I frequently see flasks with printed phrases, weird iconography, or overt brand names. Which is just fine, with this easy project that shows you how to customize them in a classy way with some basic leather scraps.   This project comes from Jenni of I Spy DIY, a blog normally dedicated to handmade women’s style and accessories. Recently, the site held a “Guy DIY” week in honor of Valentine’s Day, featuring some cool men’s style projects. They’re pretty, uh, fashion forward, which is great if that’s your thing, but if you’re interested in something timeless, check out this leather wrapped flask project. Using a few scraps and the king of glues – E600 – it’s easy to transform a novelty product into something you’re happy to fill with your favorite sprits.
