World’s Largest Model Airport Took Seven Years to Build, Costs 5.16 Million Dollars
I have started four models in my life. I have completed zero.
These cats, on the other hand, have completed the world’s largest model airport, which features “40,000 lights, 15,000 figurines, 500 cars, 10,000 trees, 50 trains, 1000 wagons, 100 signals, 200 switches and 300 buildings.” Many of the items move around by themselves, and it took seven years…
…and $5,160,000 to build.
On display now Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany.
