Depressing Tax Returns Become Beautiful Rolled Paper Art

Artist Nava Lubelski creates these organic, molecule-like rolled paper installations from tax return paperwork.  

Inhabitat reports, “Nava says her art is reminiscent of the rings by which scientists can age a tree. She also likens them to lichens, doilies, or disease, since they grow outward like some organic thing. Being the greenies that we are, we just think it’s an awesome thing to do with wasted paper. And they look cool too!”
