Famous Works of Art as Face Paintings

20-year-old photographer Andy Alcala pays homage to notable artists such as Rene Magritte, Jasper Johns, and Banksy by reimagining some of their most famous works…on his own face.

   The whole thing was certainly a series of ‘self’ portraits: in a three week period,he painted the works on himself in a mirror, then lit and photographed himself into a DIY studio.
