David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” as a Vintage-y Children’s Book
David Bowie’s Lennonesque “Space Oddity” is one of his earliest singles, and probably his most well-known by the masses. Which is a-okay with me, cause it still sounds amazing: the Stylophone solo, a perfect combo of minor-key verses to a super catchy chorus, the hand claps. It’s kinda perfect.
And, now it’s made even better…by being turned into a retro-inspired children’s book. And you can read the whole thing online. For free.
You can download the whole thing as a PDF from the Andrew Kolb’s website, but I suggest reading it while listening to the tune. Comics Alliance has done all the work for you. I’ve already done it three times. Please join me.
