Incredible Upcycled Table Made from a Vintage Door
I’m not gonna lie…I haven’t been this excited about a table in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I am often excited by tables and other assorted pieces of furniture, but this one, which is made from an antique door, is different. It’s something I could actually make!
Okay, it wouldn’t be an simple project per se, and the logistics of embarking on a table-making adventure in my tiny New York apartment would be complicated but it is possible and that makes me happy.
This beauty of a table, created by Manoteca, is called the Indoor can be both a dining room table and a desk. When it’s closed, 8 people can be seated at it, and when it’s opened up, it becomes a desk complete with rawhide pockets, a drawer and a handy spot to attach a lamp.
This is upcycling at its finest. Now all I have to do is find the perfect door and convince my roommates to let me turn our living room into a wood shop. Wish me luck.
