…You wish has been granted. Created by artists Ryosuke Fukusada and Rui Pereira, “Sapore dei Mobili [Furniture Tasting]” was “born as a reflection about the velocity of the contemporary furniture industry, and how the consumers are unable to digest the huge amount of new products launched every year.”
The project mixes a tradition from each of the designers’ backgrounds – Japanese small cakes known as baby castella and a Portuguese egg pastry called ovos moles. Be sure to check out the Work in Progress page to see photos of how the iron was created through molding and sand-casting techniques:
