Knit Motorcycle Cozy

We’ve all seen yarn bombing, I know, but have you ever seen anything like this done to a motorcycle before? Theresa Honeywell’s hand knit pink motorcycle cozy essentially renders the bike useless (even if it does look cool). So if it’s no longer a working motorcycle, what is it?

Sculpture.  

The knit motorcycle sculpture explores the traditional ideals of masculinity juxtaposed with the (traditionally) feminine craft of knitting (not to mention the pink color), creating a “disarming sculpture that challenges our preconceptions of what male and female symbols should be”.
