Big Appetites: Tiny People Interacting with Real Life Foodscapes
For the past seven years, Seattle-based artist Christopher Boffoli has been creating these whimsical photos of tiny little workers engaging (relatively) huge food landscapes.
His first solo show, “Big Appetites” opens this week in NYC. “Big Appetites is a series of fine art photographs by artist Christopher Boffoli. The series presents tiny, meticulously detailed figures posed in real food environments, referencing both a cultural fascination with tiny things as well as an American proclivity for excess, especially in the realm of food. “
Be sure to note the captions, which are just as engaging as the images.
