The United Shapes of America
XKCD, which describes itself as a “webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language,” offers the United Shapes of America, a “map of things states are shaped like.” (Try saying that three times fast.) And, it’s pretty great. Yes of course Alaska is a bear with a jetpack, Virginia a stegasaurus, and Colorado the Wikipedia page of the State of Colorado. And…now, I’ll never been able to see my home state of Ohio without thinking of underwear again. Thanks, Randall.
