Crafting the 1608: An Electric Guitar Designer by Bon Iver and Built from Whiskey Barrels

Irish whiskey producers Bushmills teamed up with musician Justin Verson of Bon Iver and luthier Gordy Bischoff to create the 1608 – an electric guitar made from spent charred white oak Bushmill’s barrels.   Check out this engaging video to watch Bischoff break down the barrel staves to create this one-of-a-kind instrument:
