Polyester Appliances by Do-Ho Suh

Like looking at your home appliances through an X-Ray… Don’t you like when art takes you by surprise?

These polyester appliances constructed by Korean artist Do-Ho Suh, look like digital renderings, but  they’re all handmade! Crazy. The detail in each sculpture is quite amazing, especially since I’m sure the translucent fabric is difficult to work. 

This series – titled Specimen – is soon to be showcased at Lehmann Maupin.
