Every Item in Grandfather’s Tool Shed
Illustrator and artist John Lee Phillips has set out to draw every single item in his late grandfather’s tool shed. That means the big cool looking stuff, sure, every screw, nut, length of wire, jar lid, drywall anchor, and bit of household hardware collected.
He calls it #TheShedProject, and describes it simply – “Currently cataloguing the entire contents of my late grandfather’s tool shed. I estimate the project to take around 5 years and will involve me illustrating in excess of 100,000 items.”
Follow along with his process on Instagram or at LeeJohnPhillips.com. I wish I could draw like that. [via Kottke]
