Sponsor Spotlight: Krrb – Be Neighborly
Hello, ManMakers. I’m happy to be working with Krrb.com, a new site for local commerce. Krrb is a safe place to buy, sell, trade and give to your neighbors — locally and in-person. Krrb puts you at the center of your stomping grounds and displays all that you and your neighbors have to offer.
Krrb.com is an all-new online venue made exclusively for local and in-person commerce. Think of Krrb (pronounced ‘curb’) as an all-in-one garage sale, flea market and local classifieds where second-handers, crafters, collectors, artists, designers, artisanal food-makers and common folks can easily connect — taking advantage of all that the Internet has to offer — while retaining a personal and face-to-face relationships. Their mission is to create a fun, friendly and safe environment that enables better and more personal face-to-face relationships.
The folks behind this awesome new site say,
For the last 10 years, New Yorkers have been selling to Californians and Californians to Chicagoans and so on. Many of us are fed up with packaging, shipping and most of all, not seeing what we’re buying before we buy (especially important with secondhand goods). The premise behind Krrb is that there is probably someone right around the corner from you who’d want what your selling or who’s selling what you want and therefore hyper-local should always be the starting point. Moreover, Krrb was created for the love of garage sales, flea markets, street fairs and any place someone can rummage, dream and discover local treasures. We believe we can take advantage of all that the Internet has to offer — while retaining personal and face-to-face relationships. And it’s this craziness that drove us to create Krrb.com and what continues to drive us while we refine it through community feedback.
I love it.
