How to Clean Window Screens Without Removing Them
Window screens can get dirty quickly, collecting dust, pollen, and grime from the outdoors. While removing and scrubbing them outside might seem like the easiest option, there’s actually a way to clean your window screens without the hassle of taking them off. This simple method not only saves time but also ensures your screens stay in place and your windows remain undisturbed. 1. Gather Your Supplies
Before you start cleaning, it’s helpful to gather everything you’ll need. For this job, you’ll require a vacuum with a brush attachment, a soft-bristled brush (such as an old toothbrush), a bowl of soapy water, and a microfiber cloth.
If the dirt is more stubborn, you might also want to have a mixture of water and vinegar on hand. This solution acts as a natural cleaner and can break down grease or sticky spots without being harsh on the screens.
2. Vacuum First to Remove Loose Debris
